Geneva Call’s Board of Trustees welcome four new members and a new Chairman

In September 2019, four new members joined Geneva Call’s Board of Trustees, bringing with them a wealth of valuable experience and expertise in the humanitarian, human rights, academic and legal sectors. The new members, who are dedicated to reinvigorating and further strengthening the mission and operations of Geneva Call are Doris Pfister, Gloria Gaggioli, Hans Isler and Mohammad-Mahmoud Ould Mohamedou.

Additionally, Bertrand Reich, who has been a Board member for fourteen years and has served as the Chairman of the Board for the last six years, will step down, as of 11 September 2019. Following fourteen years of dedicated and tireless service to advancing the work of Geneva Call to protect civilians in conflict zones, Mr. Reich has decided it is now time to pass the baton. The Board and Directorate of Geneva Call would like to thank Bertrand Reich for his invaluable contribution, dedication and commitment to the organization. Jean Keller will take over the role of Chairman of the Board and Lorella Bertani will assume the role of Vice-Chairperson.

“Geneva Call is a wonderful organization, made up of teams of committed and skilled individuals, who are fully devoted to their mission. The Board also brings together impressive skills, experience and know-how. I would like to take this opportunity to thank both the staff and the Board members for their valuable support over the years, on both a personal and professional level.”
